MEMORY
BOOK for TROY HALL
About
the Document
The following book was compiled over the
Internet. It is sorted in the order it was received on my computer. My guess is
that when we were high school students, most of us never would have guessed that
we could be in so many different parts of the world, yet still pull something
like this together. Our ability to do this is another part of the legacy that
you have helped to create.
In October 2002, I asked students to send me
a memory of Troy Hall, and to tell me what he or she is doing today. Wherever
possible, the student has also included a photo. I think that there are many
hundreds of former students that would loved to have participated in the
compilation of this document. Suffice it to say that any two former Lackland
students that meet, will always talk about Mr. Hall. In his legacy there are
dozens of corporate leaders, civic leaders, moms, dads, engineers, scientists,
military heroes, teachers, lawyers and doctors that will all testify that Troy
Hall was their best teacher EVER.
Mr. Hall (Senor Pasillo) we love you. More
than that, we thank you. I daresay, your legacy will live forever.
This book is a small token of love and appreciation to the
best teacher most of us ever had.

The mark of a
good teacher is gauged ultimately, from the love and respect of the student.
The mark of a great teacher is when that love and respect remains for a
lifetime. It becomes even more significant when that teacher continues to
influence the student so that those teachings are passed from one generation to
the next.
