MEMORY OF MR. HALL

Mr. Hall was one of my favorite teachers. I can see him very clearly in my mind, standing in front of his classroom door between classes, rocking back and forth on his heels, occasionally clapping his hands together, saying hello to everyone. He always knew our names and usually referred to us as Miss or Mr. My Hall made his class fun by injecting humor and some amazing stories. I think my favorite memory of him was just his overall good nature. For such an imposing figure, he was remarkably kind, gentle and endearing.

WHAT I AM DOING NOW

I am now a mother of three, married 12 years and I run my own day care business in Maryland. I am forever grateful for the spark he put in my life as a young, unsure 7th, 8th, and 9th grader.  I thank you, Mr. Hall for all the lives you have touched and for all the kindness you extended to your students, treating us as people, not dreaded Teen-agers.
