Troy G. Hall, age 78, died Sunday, February 2, 2003. He was born February 16, 1924 in Poteet, TX, served his country in the US Army, taught at the Poteet ISD for seven years, and later at Lackland ISD for 32 years. He attended Southwest Texas State University and received his BA and his Masters Degree. Mr. Hall is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary V. Hall; children, Lee W. Hall and wife Margaret, Becky Rubin and husband Jason; grandchildren, Jennifer Patterson, Lauren Hermes, Tess Hermes and Willa Rubin; great-granddaughter, Jessica Patterson. The Vigil Service will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2003 at 7:00 P.M. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North, 3401 Cherry Ridge Dr. The Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Thursday, February 6, 2003 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Luke's Catholic Church, 4603 Manitou Dr. at Callaghan with Fr. Patrick Ragsdale as celebrant. The Entombment will follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5:00 - 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, friends may make memorial contributions in Mr. Hall's name to your favorite charity. Arrangements are with Mission Park Funeral Chapels North.
