James Hornback

Class of 1999

1995 Yearbook, 8th grade

James was one of my really good friends. I will always remember all the fun and excitement he brought to into my life and many other people. He was one of the funniest guys I've ever known! I will never forget sneaking all the way to the other side of the base in the pouring rain with Susan to go see him and his best friend Aaron before he moved to Virginia and all the water wars we had in the woods. It seemed no matter how bad I was feeling James always had something funny to say...even in Algebra class with Mrs. Hendrix. May he rest in peace and my condoliences go out to his mom, dad, and sisters...Jennifer and Missy.

From Larry & Debbie Hornback:

To Nichole & James' friends..................it has been over 7 years since James left us.  You cannot believe how our hearts swelled when we read your thoughts Nichole.  While there are certainly sad thoughts, we are lifted to hear how James had a positive affect on his friends.  These tears we now shed are happy ones and we are extremely grateful for your kindness.  We always knew James was special.  Your kind and special memorial means more than you will ever know.

James' Mom and I are forever grateful for your act of kindness and compassion.
