Leslie Racey

Class of 1996

I cheered with Leslie for two years and have only fond memories of her. I am truly devestated by her passing. Leslie was one of the most wonderful people I have ever met. She will forever live in my memories.

You know, when I found this website and clicked on "In Memory" of, I said to myself, surely there was no one that I actually knew. Leslie and my sister and I were really GREAT friends. Leslie use to come over, and we would just hang out together. My favorite memory of Leslie was when she wanted her hair straight straight. I can't remember if it was because of a perm or what happened, but she came over and we actually ironed her hair. =) Leslie was a great friend, as Brandy stated. I look at some of my middle school pics, and she's in them, it saddens me. I'm sure that she's looking over everyone, and dancing with the angels.

I knew Leslie for 5 years and hung out a lot over the years. I left Lackland after 9th grade and I even ran into her after high school. My best memories is our sleep overs and going to the base pool. May she rest in peace.
