Obituary

Michael Anthony Leaming

 

Michael Anthony Leaming, 47, of Junction City, died July 26, 2005, at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Topeka.

He was born Oct. 1, 1957, in Little Rock, Ark., the son of Harlan James and Lorraine (DeBaggio) Leaming. He served in the United States Army during Desert Storm. Leaming was employed by the Arts and Crafts Shop and the Autocrafts Shop at Fort Riley.

He married Harriet Miller. They were divorced.

Survivors include two sons, Michael Dale Leaming of San Antonio, Texas and Max James Leaming of McArthur, Ohio; a daughter, Tabitha Sue Leaming of San Antonio, Texas; two sisters, Deborah Leaming of California, and Catherine Leaming of Iowa; a brother, David Leaming of Texas; and two grandchildren.

Leaming was cremated. Graveside inurnment services will be 11 a.m., Monday at Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth.

Michael passed away on July 26th at the VA Hospital in Topeka, Kansas. Micheal went to school at Lackland from 1962 to 1973.
